The Secretary, Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Ayo Abdulrahman, says the league will pay indemnity to clubs owners.
Abdulrahman told newsmen in Abuja, that the new board has assured the club owners that their indemnities would be paid at the beginning of the season.
He said the move would lessen club owners’ financial burden.
The secretary therefore urged players to be good ambassadors of the league.
The Nigeria Women Football League will kick-off on March 25, in Lafia, Nassarawa State with the opening match by Nasarawa Amazon Football Club and Osun Babes FC.
